  1. From the Scots word "craw", meaning "crow", combined with the word "awa", meaning "away" - so really the sound a crow makes flying off somewhere or "shootin the craw", as we say here.

    word verif: "fardumsi", which is as Scots a word as I've heard in a long time, probably meaning "irredeemably stupid" or "incredibly drowsy".
